HISTORY Altair Equipment Company (AECO) was formed in the early 1970's by Edward G. Krager to provide expert services for water and waste treatment systems. Edward was joined by his sons Richard and Wayne. The company has grown in size, scope, and variety of service offered. Today AECO's customers include major automobile manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, power suppliers, and chemical companies. Installations include central power plants, purified & WFI systems, water reuse systems, and condensate polishers. FACILITIES AECO's facility is located in Warminster Pennsylvania. The 10,000 square foot facility houses both a 30 and a 60 cubic foot regeneration facility, a softening resin regeneration plant, assembly space, QC/Testing laboratory and warehouse staging area. AECO is breaking ground on our new 18,000 square foot facility with its new regeneration plant, clean assembly space, and testing area. ENGINEERING AECO's staff of engineers and CAD designers have over 200 years of experience in water treatment design, troubleshooting, start-up, assembly, application, service, and evaluation of water treatment systems. Our staff consists of experts in their respective fields who regularly lecture and are published. Our engineers provide our clients with the best available knowledge for system designs, commissioning, and validation. Please contact AECO for copies of articles or to schedule training at your facility. FIELD SERVICE AECO has extensive field/start-up service experience. We are available to supervise field erection, installation, and equipment start-up. In addition Altair Engineers are available for conducting pilot studies, plant evaluations, and system improvement recommendations. Altair's completely equipped laboratory allows our technical staff to conduct in house pilot studies for special membrane, filtration, or ion exchange applications. MANUFACTURING AECO manufactures filters, reverse osmosis systems, degassifiers, and standard or engineered skid in its Warminster, Pennsylvania facility. Strategic partnerships exist with specialty suppliers to supply other specialized systems such as stills, point of use polishers, mechanical installation, clean rooms, distribution systems, boilers, air compressors, and other mechanical equipment. SERVICE ION EXCHANGE AECO has the capability to provide high quality, personal service ion exchange within a 800 mile radius of its facility. Ion exchange tanks may be shipped across the United States, Canada, and Mexico to meet the client's needs. Resin is tracked and regeneration documented. ISO-9000 and FDA Validated ion exchange services are regularly provided. PROJECTS Johnson & Johnson , New Brunswick , NJ. Designed and installed a 500 GPD Purified Water System.
